On September 23, 2026 (Meskerem 13, 2019 E.C.), a special student orientation program was conducted for Grade 6 and Grade 8 students to usher in the new 2019 E.C. Academic Year.
As middle and primary school exit years, Grade 6 and Grade 8 represent critical milestones in a student's educational journey. The session focused on preparing these key grade levels for the academic expectations, goal setting, and behavioral standards necessary for a successful year.
Key Highlights of the Orientation
- Strategic Academic Planning: School leaders and teachers presented the academic Roadmap for the 2019 E.C. school year, outlining key curriculum objectives, milestone assessments, and strategies for effective study habits.
- Emphasis on Code of Conduct & Ethics: The program placed strong emphasis on student discipline, mutual respect, school rules, and positive behavior, establishing a supportive and orderly learning environment.
- Preparation for Key Milestones: Recognizing the importance of national and regional assessments for these benchmark grades, educators provided guidance on time management, focus, and personal responsibility.
- Interactive Q&A Session: Students actively participated by asking questions regarding their schedules, expectations, and upcoming school activities, receiving valuable advice from teachers and counselors.
Building Tomorrow's Leaders
By engaging students directly at the start of the academic year, the school aims to foster a strong sense of ownership over their learning and conduct. Equipped with clear targets and an encouraging support system, our Grade 6 and Grade 8 students are well-prepared to excel academically and model positive leadership for younger peers.
We wish our Grade 6 and Grade 8 students an outstanding, disciplined, and high-achieving 2019 E.C. school year!
